This policy explains what information Only For Us Records ("OFUR," "we," "us") collects when you visit www.ofurecords.com, sign up for updates, contact us, or buy merch, and what we do with it. OFUR is a North American electronic music label. Only For Us Records operates this site.

What we collect

Information you give us

 

• Email signups (newsletter): your email address, and your name if you add it.

• Contact form: your first and last name, email address, subject, and message, plus anything else you choose to send us (for example, links to your music).

• Orders: your name, email, shipping address, phone number (if given), and what you ordered. If you create a store account, we also keep your login details and order history.

• Payments: payments are handled by our e-commerce platform and its payment processors. We don't see or store your full card number.

 

Information collected automatically

 

When you browse the site, our website platform (Wix) and its analytics tools collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location (from your IP), the pages you visit, and how you got here. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).

• process, make, ship, and support your orders, including replacements and refunds

• answer your messages

• send our newsletter and label updates (new releases, events, merch drops) if you signed up

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the site and store:

• Payment processors used by our e-commerce platform to take your payment.

• Tapstitch, our print-on-demand partner, which receives your name, shipping address, phone number (if given), and order details so it can make and ship your item.

• Shipping carriers, which deliver your order.

• Authorities or advisers, when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

 

If OFUR is ever reorganized, merged, or sold, your information may transfer as part of that, under the same protections.

Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies from Wix to make the site and cart work, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. Some are essential, and the site may not work properly without them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Where a cookie banner is shown, you can also manage your choices there.

Emails from us

If you sign up for updates, we'll email you about OFUR releases, events, and merch. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed. Even after you unsubscribe, we'll still send emails about any order you place.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for customer support and for tax and accounting rules. We keep newsletter signups until you unsubscribe and contact messages for as long as they're useful for the conversation. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.

 

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

 

• tell you what personal information we hold about you

• correct it

• delete it (unless we need to keep it, for example for order records)

• stop sending you marketing emails

 

Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, for example in California and other US states, Canada, the UK, or the EU. To make a request, email team@ofurecords.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

 

Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process your information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws there may differ from where you live. We rely on our providers' safeguards to protect it.

 

Security

We use reputable platforms and limit who can access your information. No website is 100% secure, though, so please use a strong password if you create an account.

 

Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

 

Links to other sites

The site links to other services, such as streaming platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
